Event Recap: Greenpoint Gallery Night

Greenpoint Gallery Night

The streets of Greenpoint came alive with art this past Friday, September 12th, as people wandered through the open doors of many of the neighborhood’s galleries. This event was truly an outlet for art of all types.

The historic neighborhood of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is filled with exceptional galleries, alternative exhibition spaces, and working artists. As NYC gears up for a new season of art openings and events, Brooklyn will open their doors to art seekers from near and far. Two local gallery directors, Lia Post of Fowler Project Space and Scott Chasse of Calico, have once again teamed up to organize “Greenpoint Gallery Night”.

Greenpoint Gallery Night is an ongoing effort to shed light on Greenpoint’s exceptional galleries, art organizations, and businesses that feature artwork. Participating locations have scheduled opening receptions and extended hours to coincide with the event.
